ABOUT LAURENCE
History
Laurence Hamilton-Baillie has been at the forefront of drone development since 2012. This was before stabilising camera gimbals had been invented and flight times were as short as 5 minutes! In those days, If a product didn't exist that enabled you to achieve a goal, then you made it yourself. Laurence's reputation for taking specialist kit and operating it in the harshest environments around the globe made him a safe pair of hands for production managers on many international television shoots around the world. Since then he has expanded into DOP work, heading up multi camera broadcast teams in a variety of remote locations. He has a breadth of experience on obs doc, natural history, fixed rig and scripted shows. He is comfortable filming in extreme environments on a wide variety of camera systems including Red, Sony, Canon, and Black Magic.
Today
With a career in television camerawork and drone cinematorgraphy as a backdrop, Laurence's focus is on achieving a very high end result whilst never compromising on the most rigorous safety standards that are expected on all the high end TV productions.
